I always love making cards for fall so I was happy to see the Star Stampz Challenge for this month was to create a fall card.
For this challenge, I selected the Autumn Fall Girl Reading digital stamp from the Star Stampz Etsy Shop.
A year ago, I would have been very intimidated by the thought of coloring this image. I’ve grown so much as a colorist over the past year. It’s remarkable how much it makes a difference when you actually have time to practice a skill every single day. You improve whether you are trying or not!
I feel like these little scenes are little mini works of art! I actually have a few of them framed and they are hanging in my house. I especially like the seasonal pieces like this one. I can change them out throughout the year. It makes me happy just to look at them!
Isn’t that sentiment fabulous? That is another premade cut apart sentiment from Simon Says Stamps. I don’t try to cut them perfectly straight or even attach them perfectly straight. I’ll work on that skill next year!!!!
