It really is the most wonderful time of the year. Just like the song says!
I’ve created a festive Christmas card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge.
The papers, ribbons, inks and embellishments are all from Stampin’ Up! I’ve used Designer Series Paper from the Quilted Christmas collection. I love the patterns in this paper set. They mix and match so well. Plus the patterns aren’t overwhelming the entire card. They aren’t the focal point.
The focal point comes from the sentiment and the stamped image! These are from Catherine Pooler’s Winterhaven Collection and her Wonderful Time of the Year set. I just love them. The sentiment is spectacular and the poinsettia really stands out.
I have to confess to doing too little Christmas shopping and too much Kim shopping on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I might have gone overboard in my quest to try new products to see if they are as wonderful as Stampin’ Up! (My true love!)
Yep! I did that. Everyday when I drive into the driveway after work, it’s just so exciting to see the packages awaiting me on the porch! Goodies to play with. It’s a wonderful thing and they were all on sale!
I got the Stampin’ Up! box today. The clearance rack and the retiring products really were too good to resist. What a perfect time to buy ribbon, twine and embellishments. Plus, you can get that stamp set that you were looking at but never purchased. On sale, it’s a little easier to click the “add to the cart” button. (Go to mystampingstore.com!)
Here is this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch:
You can see that I just flipped the sketch over to add my ribbon and stamped image to the bottom corner. It’s a fun sketch and you are cordially invited to try out the sketch challenge with us this week!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a peaceful day!
