I have two stamp sets that I’ve been playing with almost exclusively for the last month! They are the Lovely Arrangements stamp and die set and the Paradise Garden stamp and die set.
I did the Stampin’ Up! Virtual Card Retreat about a month ago and then I took the Lovely Blossoms Virtual Class with Stampin’ Up! a couple of weeks ago and I got hooked on these two sets!
Here is a card I created for today:
I love the circle die in the set. You can use the circles, the little pop out starburst pieces from between the circles, or you can use the outside part as a stencil for a pretty background with some ink blending.
I had the circle piece made for a project from yesterday and never used it. I decided to reimagine it as a flower basket.
I had cut this out in Petal Pink and I had to pull out my Color Coach cards to find out what colors might work with this peachy pink color. I selected Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue, Lemon Lolly, and Old Olive.
I was very happy with the final result! I got a colorful basket of spring flowers!
The sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea. The embellishments are also Secret Sea enamel dots. I’m hoping that assortment of enamel dots comes back into stock soon, I’m almost out of them!
I did add some Secret Sea dots to the centers of all the flowers with my Stampin’ Blends to give them a nice pop of contrasting color.
Once the die cutting was done, the card went together fairly quickly.
