Time to make the Easter cards!
Since it hasn’t felt very much like spring around here, I haven’t given much thought to making my Easter cards. There are really only 2 or 3 actual stamp sets designated for Easter and I couldn’t resist using the tulips!
I love that Stampin’ Up! brought fun watercolor images and papers back into the Occasions catalog. There is something so relaxing about the process of watercoloring. It invites you to remember what it was like to lay on the floor on your stomach and color with your sister!
I had trouble deciding which embossing folder to use for this card. (I miss the Vintage Wallpaper and the Lacy Brocade folders!) My fallback now is the Perfect Polka Dots. I just love how tiny and subtle they are. They just add that one extra touch your card sometimes needs to make someone look twice at it!
