Turtle-Y Cute Scrapbook Layouts

When I first saw the Turtle-Y Cute Suite in the new Annual Catalog from Stampin’ Up!, I didn’t add it to my wish list. I waited a couple of months until Stampin’ Up! announced their suite bogo 50% off sale. Then I added the suite to my order along with the scrapbook workshop kit that coordinates with it.

I’ve been playing with these goodies and I fell in love!

I actually browsed Pinterest for some sketches for inspiration and I came up with one that looked like this. It was an old Pagemaps sketch and I thought it would work great with the supplies I had.

The scrapbook workshop kit had a sheet of die cut pieces and a sticker sheet. I’ve used several of those bits here. I also did some stamping using the coordinating Turtle-y Sweet stamp set. I added the title, the sun, and some sparkle background filler stamping. I love supplementing my own handmade details and ephemera with the stuff from the kit and the suite of products.

Then I pulled all the pieces out to create a coordinating layout so I had a double page layout that worked together.

I made several bits of ephemera for this page. I pulled out some circle punches to create the sun circles and the one with the bird stickers. I also created the tabs and banners with the Turtle-y Sweet stamp set, the Celebrate together stamp set, and the Weekend Adventures stamp set.

All of these are stamp sets that coordinate with one or another of the scrapbook workshop kits that Stampin’ Up! is currently selling. I LOVE them all and keep pulling stamps out of them to add to whatever layout I happen to be working on at the time!

The title of this page is stamped from the Weekend Adventure stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink!

This page will actually go on the left side in my album facing the first page. I really like the yellow borders on the outsides of the double page layout.

This was so fun to make. I will have another double page layout from this set for you tomorrow as well. I am having too much fun to put away these supplies yet!
