Scrappy Tails Crafts has this fabulous Rose Petals stamp and die set that I have really been enjoying creating with.
I have been in the mood for watercoloring techniques, so I created 3 quick cards using easy watercoloring techniques with my Catherine Pooler ink pads.
Catherine Pooler just came out with some new colors of inks and I have been waiting to find time to try them out. Today was the day!!
Card 1:
The first card is simply heat embossed in black and then watercolored using several of the new ink colors and a couple of my old favorites! I just squished the ink onto my craft mat, spritzed with water and applied it to my heat embossed image on watercolor paper. I patiently waited for it to dry before adding some splatter to finish it off!
Card 2:
I added water to a piece of watercolor paper using a large flat brush, then I just dropped some of the same colors onto the wet paper and let the water do the work of moving them around. I heat embossed my image on top of the dried panel and added some black and gold splatter and a sentiment.
Card 3:
I heat embossed the image in golden peach embossing powder onto patterned paper and fussy cut the image out. I used one of my scraps of watercolor paper to add a blue watercolor wash. Once it dried, I added some splatter and I added the fussy cut image with foam tape. I used a die cut sentiment from the Slimline Pop Up Box Craft die set to finish off the card.
