Today’s card uses a very sweet digital stamp set from Kinda Cute from Patricia. The set has the hot air balloon and then several animals you can place hanging over the edge of the basket. You will see that I chose the cute little elephant!
I love the little elephant…he looks like he is really enjoying his ride in the hot air balloon!
You can see that I kept my coloring fairly simple. I die cut the image out with my Brother Scan-n-Cut. I really have gotten my money’s worth out of that machine! I use it almost daily and all I’ve done with it so far is use it to scan in my images and cut them out. I still have all the other ways of using it to explore.
That’s my summer goal!
I used two of my new favorite stencils from Maker Forte for my background: The Slimline Clouds and The Slimline Grass. I stenciled using several distress oxide inks: mowed lawn, crushed olive, spun sugar, tumbled glass, and milled lavender.

The finishing touch included 3 Vegas Strip Crown Jewel Gems from Maker Forte.
