This month it is all about Circles on the Scrapbook Challenge YOUrself blog for October 2024.
Remember that with this challenge, YOU have to be in at least one photo on the layout!
I made a double page layout using the new Autumn to Remember Scrapbook Workshop kit from Stampin’ Up!
The kit came with a wonderful giant circle die cut piece that you can see toward the top. I cut that piece in two so I could use a bit of it on each layout. Then I picked 4 of the patterns of paper from the kit to use on the background. I love this! The patterns are fantastic.
I die cut a bunch of circle pieces out of coordinating scraps of card stock in my stash using the Spotlight on Nature circle dies. I added some of the circle stickers from the kit to add yet more circles to the layout.
I did some stamping with the coordinating stamp set and added some ink splatter.
The kit also has a set of wood veneer die cuts that add a perfect fall touch to the layout.
I LOVED this scrapbook workshop kit. Stampin’ Up! hit it out of the park with this one!
I did fussy cut the owl on this page from one of the stickers on the sticker sheet. I loved having all the sentiment strips to add to my layout as well. Again…a bit cheer from me for having such a perfect kit for fall scrapbooking.
I used some photos from a trip my husband and I took to visit our daughter in Michigan while she was in grad school there. We spent a day at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. It was AWESOME! Then we went to Mackinac Island for a day. The island has no motorized vehicles, so we rented bikes and saw the sites. Another fabulous day. It was a real autumn day even though it was the end of August.
