This week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is another sketch that works really well with your pretty patterned papers!
I haven’t been able to stop playing with the Lovely Blossoms Suite of products from Stampin’ Up! I thought this sketch was another perfect one for using those pretty papers I just can’t put away!
I used 1-1/4 x 4″ DSP strips over a piece of 4 x 5-1/4″ white card stock for the background. I added the Cloud Cover base and 2-1/4 x 5-1/4″ panel and a 2 x 5-1/4″ white to create my background. Then I fussy cut the oval focal image out of one of the 3 x 3″ cut apart cards in the DSP set. I added my sentiment in Secret Sea, a Secret Sea ribbon and enamel dots to finish off the card.
I’m very happy with the end result of this!
I wasn’t sure that I would find so many uses for all those cut apart cards in the DSP package, but I have found so many different ways to use them! I love that you can fussy cut out parts of the card and just use that for lots of impact on your finished card!
You can find the challenge HERE to see more examples of how other people are using this sketch and to play along.
