Stampin’ Up! has so many great stamps, papers, inks and embellishments that sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. Today, it was easy. I opened the box with my newest supplies and there in the bottom of the box was this stamp! It is one of the single stamps you can purchase in Stampin’ Up!s single stamp promotion. They have sets 3 and 4 out now. I love this stamp!!! I used to sing (or cackle) this song to my kids when they were little.
I decided to stick with colors in the brights collection and the resulting card makes me smile! I can’t think of a happier card that I’ve made recently.
I also can’t believe that I resisted buying and then using the bottle caps. What a fabulous element in a card. I’ve discovered that the images from the Spring Sampler stamp set, which has 24 spring images, fit perfectly inside the soda pop caps. You need a 1″ circle punch to punch them out. They fit perfectly inside the caps. There are so many images that they coordinate with a lot of card themes. Another set on my “LOVE THIS” list.

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Tempting Turquoise, and Tangerine Tango Stampin’ Write Markers.

I did make two of these cards at once…one for each kid. I’m sure they will both enjoy getting a card from me in the mail this week!
Tips:
- I cut out the Top Note Die Cuts, then embossed the Whisper White one and then cut each top note in half with my trimmer.
- I squished the soda pop tops in my Big Shot. Place them between your cutting plates and use the platform with no tabs.
- I also used Tombow glue to adhere my punched sun to the inside of the cap.
- Crystal Effects would be a pretty addition to cover the image inside the cap and make it very shiney!
