Here are 3 cards that will make you want the Best of Snow Stamp Set! I haven’t had a lot of time to stamp this week. It felt good to sit, relax and be creative. The Best of Snow stamp set just happened to be sitting on my craft table and it really inspired me! The little characters are so cute!
How cute is this little snowman? Stampin’ Up! really doesn’t have enough snowmen this year! I was delighted when the Best of Snow stamp set came out and gave us this little image! You can see that I just used a few markers to add a little touch of color to the snowman. The sentiment is from the Christmas Tagables Photopolymer set.
Here is a single layer card using the snowflake image from the set. All of the cards are using the same color scheme: Whisper White, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party. You can see that I’ve added the Bermuda Bay Taffeta Ribbon and some Rhinestones to each. I used some scraps of paper to punch out some circles, scallop circles and banners. These little touches are a perfect way to use those scraps that you have. (I know that you have been saving every scrap. It’s just too hard to toss a piece of paper when you just know that you’ll be able to use it on some project!)
This card uses two images from the Best of Snow set. The Let It Snow image is a new image and it coordinates with the Label Brackets Punch. I LOVE this punch. It’s one of the trendy new shapes in crafting. (Don’t believe me? Check out Better Homes and Gardens magazine and see how many times they’ve used this shape in the last 3 issues of their magazine!!)
I fell in love with the little hedgehog making a little snowman hedgehog buddy. For this image, I added color using my blender pens. I made an attempt to shade the images a little. (Watercolor paper works better for that…so this was a half hearted attempt on my part to be sure!) You can see that two of the cards use the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper, which is what inspired my color combination for today.
These cards were quick to make and I had to stop myself at 3 and at just one color combination! It’s just so tempting to continue and make more. I’m thinking that these would make adorable tags for gifts as well…my craft room is calling me back!!!
