Step Up A Single Layer Card With Embellishments!I
Have you ever made a single layer card, or any card for that matter, and the next day you decided that you could have added just a couple of details to make it more of a “WOW!” card?
Yesterday I shared a nice and easy single layer card that used heat embossing. I liked the card, but I wanted that fabulous sentiment to pop even more than it did with just the embossing alone. Check out the card from yesterday HERE if you missed it.
This just has a pop more of color and don’t you love the washi tape border across the bottom? Add that fabulous button and the bow really feels more anchored to the card.
It just has a more pulled together feel.
The additions were just so simple to do. A bit of background stamping with the hearts, the washi tape border along the bottom and a button beneath the bow to make it stand out more and it feels more anchored to the card. Plus…die cutting the sentiment and popping it up on dimensionals made that stand out more too, especially with the hearts peeking out beneath the sentiment.
