Perfectly Wrapped Candy Bar With Tutorial!

A friend loaned me two books a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to create a little something as a thank you. I decided that a little chocolate in a pretty package with a great tag would do the trick!

How pretty is this color combination?

I really sat down to create a set of 20 thank you cards to keep in my desk at work.  I used a package of the notecards and envelopes and created 4 designs.  I made 5 of each design.  I thought the colors were very sweet!

The first two cards that I created actually used the Endless Thanks, Thankful Thoughts and the One Big Meaning stamp sets.  Instead of the Blushing Bride, I used Peekaboo Peach.  I like that color combination too! 

Stampin’ Up! came out with some new ribbon and baker’s twine in Blushing Bride, so I couldn’t resist making the next two card designs using that instead of the peach.  I also grabbed the Perfectly Wrapped stamp set.  That just arrived in the mail.  I actually won it at the Creative Convention that I attended a few weeks ago.  I have to admit that I didn’t love the stamp set until I actually started using it.  I absolutely love the simplicity of the cards that I created with this new stamp set!!

This stamp set was actually created to coordinate with a craft kit (The Perfectly Wrapped Project Kit) that allows you to make some fabulous gift packaging.  All the supplies you need to create 16 gift bags and boxes in total.

I used my favorite card design for the chocolate bar wrapping!

Notice that I decorated all of the envelopes with a little stamping too!  It adds a little touch that you can’t get with a card that you purchase from the store!
