Adding Digital Images To Your Scrapbook Layouts!

The latest challenge for the Scrapping 4 Fun Challenge is an anything goes challenge  which  means that  you  can  use whatever  you  want and  create  any  kind  of  project!

I used the Love my Home digital image to create a fun 12 x 12″ scrapbook layout with some new Simple Stories Sweet Talk papers.

I did a little ink wash on the background and added some gold and blue splatters for fun!  You can see that I’ve added a torn paper detail and I’ve used all 3 of the papers that came in this kit from The ScrapRoom for February.  This is the first time that I’ve tried out the kit and I like how they send you 4 kits in one to create at least 8 layouts!  You get a nicely curated sampling of 4 different collections that are currently on the market.

I colored in the sweet little house image with the floral smoke using my Copic markers.  I cut around the image leaving a generous amount of space around the entire image to allow it to pop off the blue watercolor wash background.  I attempted to coordinate my colors with the papers that I used.

This is a fun way to use those digital images on something other than a card!
