I absolutely love this week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge sketch! It’s so pretty, I actually want to use it in a scrapbook layout to create an Easter layout.
Won’t this make a perfect title piece for a scrapbook layout?
I didn’t even bother to add my creation to a card base. I’m going to create a layout and share that with you tomorrow!
How pretty is this?
It’s just a perfect Easter title piece for a 12 x 12″ layout.
This combines the Honey Bunny Scrapbooking stamp set and the Honey Bunny Cardmaking stamp set. I just could not resist these and I purchased the thin cuts set for each. This was a splurge for me, but totally worth it. I’ve made a bunch of cards with these sets and I have several layouts that I will use them for as well.
This big Easter stamp is going to get used for years to come on my Easter layouts as well. In this version of it, I have die cut it out and popped it up on foam tape with layers of florals all around it. I just love the look of this!
I actually stamped the florals on watercolor paper and used my dye inks to add some color with a round paint brush. I added some white gel pen details to add a whimsical touch along with some enamel dots for the finishing touch. I didn’t bother with the watercolor paper for the Easter stamp. I just pulled out my Colorista pencils and added a tiny bit of color to the florals.
Adding color to these images was quick and easy, but it added so much to this piece. It’s so colorful and full of spring joy!
You can check out these stamp and thin cut sets in my shop! They will be available while supplies last or until the end of June-ish. As you know, Close to my Heart is closing it’s doors soon, so if you want any products from the shop, don’t put it off!
We would love to have you join us for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch weekly challenges! It’s always fun to see what everyone creates and shares.
I hope you find some time to be creative today! Thank you for stopping by!
This is so sweet, Kim! Your pretty pastels are perfect for the sketch! Can’t wait to see the page you create!
