This week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is a slimline style card sketch!
I decided to create a Christmas card since my craft table is literally filled with Christmas papers and ephemera!
I added lots of dimension to this card, along with some ink blending for the background. I used Soft Sea Foam ink with a blending brush to add some color to the edges of my white card stock panel. Then I popped up several of the ephemera die cuts that came in the Christmas Tags & More 6 x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper set.
I added one of the metallic sentiments from the Greetings Ephemera Pack.
A few of the Traditional Sparkling Sequins finished off my cards.
Card Recipe:
- White card stock: 2-5/8 x 5-5/8″, 6-1/4 x 7″ scored and folded at 3-1/2″
- Pecan Pie: 2-3/4 x 5-3/4″
- Real Red: 3 x 6″
Here is another view:
A fairly quick and easy cards since all the decorative focal image pieces are pre-made!
