I have not yet played with the Barnyard Babies stamp set and this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge gave me the perfect opportunity!
This week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge was a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge.
I started with the girl card…using three across, according to the challenge I should have used a girl theme, an animal, and linen thread. I substituted thick white baker’s twine for the linen thread.
I always feel like baby cards should be kept simple. I used some layers with the new Pink Flamingo card stock and designer paper (from the In Color 2016-2018 Designer Paper Stack). The stamped image is cut out with the Tags and Labels Framelits, while the sentiment is punched with the new Classic Label punch. I’ve added a Peekaboo Peach enamel heart embellishment for fun.
It’s such a cute stamp set, I decided to make a Dapper Denim boy card using the horse and another sentiment from the set. Here I’ve used the layering circles framelits.
I added Basic Gray to my color scheme for the horse and sentiment. I love the new scallop circles in the layering circles framelits set. You get a ton of circles and scallops in one gigantic set of framelits.
