My friend Kendra hit 1000 subscribers on YouTube and decided to have YouTube hop to celebrate! We have a fun lineup and each stop on the hop has a giveaway. Make sure you subscribe to the channels and leave a comment for a chance to win one of the fabulous prizes!!
I created 3 cards using the Missing You stamp and die set from Pink & Main. I also used 3 sheets of 6 x 6″ patterned paper from the Home Sweet Home paper pad from Pink & Main. Kendra sent me these goodies that were supplied to her by Pink & Main and I have been patiently waiting to play with them!
I love this sweet little set of cards!
I stamped all the images in the set and then did a quick watercolor technique using my Catherine Pooler mini ink pads and a paint brush.
You can see this quick technique in the video I created. I have done a couple of virtual classes with Angie Blom and she makes watercoloring look so simple. I decided to mimic her technique and I’m super happy with the results!
I die cut everything out with the coordinating dies. I also used the Hello die to create a sentiment and focal image all in one on one of the cards.
I think this hello die is fabulous! I love when the word dies come with a shadow die. You get a lot more versatility out of them!
This is one of the cards I did using the quick watercoloring technique! I kept my cards clean and simple for this hop. I used layers and patterned paper as inspired by Kendra!
