I have several projects to share with you today!! It’s Christmas in July and I made some Christmas tags and shrink plastic charms. I also have a quick Christmas card!
I created two Christmas tags using manila tags from Maker Forte. You can see that I created an ink blended background and then stamped one of the small stamps from the Nordic Watercolor Builder stamp set in the same color to create my backgrounds.
This tag uses Maker Forte’s Color Hive TipTree Jam ink and the Joy Nativity sentiment from the Nativity, Peace, Love, and Hope stamp set heat embossed in gold.
The tree came from the Nordic Watercolor Builder stamp set. This set is jam packed with fun images to create Christmas cards with!
This tag uses the Palm Tree ink. You can see the bird from the same stamp set. I also added lots of marks on this using found objects that I keep in my craft cabinet. I used bottle caps to make circles, corrugated cardboard to make lines, and bubble wrap to create small circles.
I finished it off with some white splatter, of course!!
Here you can see the shrink plastic charms I made from the Nordic stamp set. I had a lot of fun creating those!! I think they are a sweet little extra touch for the tags. You can also see that the tags got heat embossed gold edges as well.
I created a card using the same techniques. This time I used the Acid Wash blue ink and some Crown Jewel Gems in Red Roller Skate ink.
