Don’t you just love the sentiment on this card? Christmas Wishes From Across The Miles. Since I live 500 miles from my entire family, this is an especially personal sentiment for me at the holidays.
This card was created from this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch! I’ve used the Warmth and Cheer Designer Paper Stack, the Santa’s Sleigh , Stitched with Cheer and the Holly Berry Happiness stamp sets.
My color combination is inspired by the colors in the kitchen of the house we are hoping to buy. The walls are a Sahara Sand color and they shelves and accents are black. I was surprised by how much I really liked that combination! Add in some Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Crushed Curry to give it some pops of color and it’s done!
I actually found this challenging at first because those 3 squares down the left side confounded me! When I decided to go with a Christmas sentiment, then of course those had to be gift boxes!! How fun is the star background paper with the coordinating stamp that I’ve used to create a tone-on-tone background touch with the Sahara Sand?! I love the coordination between products in the Stampin’ Up! line. It takes the work out of pulling the parts of your card together.
I’m also entering my card in the Christmas Card Challenges. I’ve never played along with this one before, but it looks like fun! Who doesn’t love to make Christmas cards?!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Tomorrow I will post about the SALE that is going on…check it out online at mystampingstore.com!
