You are cordially invited to join the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Design Team to play along with our sketch challenge this week! The sketch is a nice clean and simple sketch. This is another one that is going in my digital file because it is another classic sketch with lots of possibilities.
I decided to tip this sketch on it’s side. My entire goal was to use scraps from my desk and some Washi tape. I have so much Washi tape and just don’t use it enough.
This sketch is a perfect sketch for using the Washi tape or those leftover strips of patterned paper you have sitting in a basket or file right now!
The Washi tape is from Carpe Diem and the stamped birds and sentiment are from MFT Stamps Happy Hippos. The hello die is from Catherine Pooler Designs.
The little birds are colored very simply with my Altenew Alcohol Markers and some white gel pen highlights. I added some black lines with my journaling pen around the edge of the patterned paper scrap from the basket on my desk.
Super quick and simple. Plus, doesn’t it feel good to use those scraps and supplies that you’ve been neglecting for awhile?
