Today, I’m sharing this adorable Elephant with Ice Cream digi from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez. I find it so challenging to select which digi I want to color next because she has the most amazing selection of adorable digital images. I fell in love with this little elephant and his mouse friend.
This is actually two digital images. The banner is a separate image from the elephant and mouse. I just layered them in a word document and printed them out on cardstock in my printer and colored them in. You can resize the image in your photo editing program and then just add them to a word document. I usually end up fussing with it until I get them aligned just the way I want them.
I actually did a quick watercolor wash with my Catherine Pooler inks to create the sky and the grass. I used her It’s a Boy for the Sky and Green tea for the grass. Then I added some grass details with my Copics. I also made sure to leave some white space for clouds while I was doing the watercolor part. The sentiment is from Catherine Pooler’s Ways to Say You stamp set and that is stamped in her Midnight Black Ink.
