Digital Stamps and Die Cutting Fun

By | 08/16/2021

I played with an adorable image from Kinda Cute by Patricia and wave die cut from Sunny Studio stamps to create a whimsical scene.

You can see that I printed the digital image of a mouse in a cup and colored it in with my Copics.  I used my Brother Scan-n-Cut to cut out the image.

I don’t know why I just kept picturing this mouse in that cup floating in the waves.  I just needed to make it work once it was in my head!

I die cut the waves out of a scrap piece of light blue card stock using a nice die from Sunny Studio Stamps.  You get two nice wave pieces from one cut with this die.

I sponged on some Broken China distress oxide ink and did some splattering with white paint to add some white water details.

The card front piece is sponged with Speckled egg and the wave die cut pieces were layered on top of that.

The clouds are die cut using a sweet cloud die from Kat Scrappiness.  I layered these together in my scene to fit a bunch of them on the card.

The sentiment and blue crown jewel gems are from Maker Forte.  The sentiment is a pre-printed cut apart set.
