The Make The Cards Challenge is teaming up with the Double Trouble Challenge to create a 2 Week Challenge!
I created a watercolored floral card using the colors in the challenge!
For the colors, I chose Catherine Pooler Inks in Peppermint Scrub, In The Park, Mardis Gras, Rose Petals, and Midnight.
The stamp set is the Flower Cluster stamp set from Maker Forte’s Varada Sharma Collection. I love this sentiment!!
I was a little worried as I was watercoloring this that it was looking a little to Christmasy. Once it dried and I added some colored pencil shading and details, it felt more like a spring card.
I finished off the card by adding some black and white splatter and some clear drop embellishments to complete the card.
It’s always nice to spend an afternoon watercoloring. What a relaxing way to spend a few hours!
