Hello Friend!
I’m so happy that you stopped by today.
I saw a new challenge that I couldn’t resist creating a card for on the Where Creativity Meets C9 Blog.
Quite a while ago, I took a class at a stamp shop on the west end of Long Island called Stamp, Ink, Paper. I live all the way on the eastern end of Long Island, so this was a long journey for me!
I have been back a couple of times and it is a wonderful store. If you live on Long Island, do treat yourself to a day trip to the store. The owner, Justin, has it filled with stamps and products from several different stamp companies. Some of them I had never heard of, like Concord & 9th (C9).
I saw this tree ring stamp set on the rack and fell in love with it immediately. I think that was actually the first thing that went into my basket!
I placed an online order on or around Black Friday and got the most amazing sentiment and die set. It has a layered hello die set that is amazing. Plus, they sent me a free heart die set that I’ve used a few times since I received it. I LOVE their dies and stamps.
Isn’t that tree ring background stamp to die for? It is unusual and I did not have anything like it, nor had I seen anything like it.
It’s great for masculine cards and I feel like I’m always looking for stamps I can use for masculine cards and projects.
The die set has a thin die and then the thicker one which actually has a small border piece that goes around it, which I did not include on this card.
Then of course that Say Hello stamp set that coordinates with the die set has a huge number of choices that you can add to your card for all kinds of occasions. You know I’m a sucker for these kinds of sentiment sets! I always feel like my money goes a long way when I select a stamp set like this because I can use it for so many cards.
The little heart is from my freebie…it’s just one piece of the free set.
I did add a little splatter using the flicking technique with a couple colors of my Stampin’ Up! markers.
The challenge is and Anything Goes Challenge to use your first C9 Stamp Set.
I just couldn’t resist using 3 of my favorite C9 goodies.
It was fun to create this little card using a few new things and an old favorite!
Thank you for stopping by!! Have a wonderful day!
I adore this card and this die. For a while, I was afraid I would use it on every card! Thank you so much for joining us at Where Creativity Meets C9.
It is one of my all-time favorite stamps! Thank you!
