Keeping it Clean and Simple

By | 01/19/2013

There are days when I sit and create  really detailed cards and projects.  I fuss with the details and try different elements to see what I like best.  Today was not one of those days.  It was time to break down and clean the house today, so my creative time was limited!  I decided I better stick with clean and simple.

especially for youI used a design that I’ve been thinking about for a while.  I love the squares with two corners rounded while the other two remain pointed.  I also used a technique where I stamped the same image 3 times on different colors of card stock and then punched out different parts of the image from each.  I quite like the effect.  It’s like you get a peek at parts of the flower, but never quite see the entire thing.
