Let’s Get Away With Project Life Layouts!

I’m going to be perfectly honest…I am a diehard scrapbooker.  I love making my own layouts and using all my “stuff”.  I really love combining my stamping and my scrapbooking for my own truly unique scrapbooks.

I’m a beginner at this Project Life Memory Keeping.
I’m liking it!  It’s relaxing.  Although, I need to find my rhythm with page creation.  There are so many things you can add and I haven’t really explored what’s out there and what other people have done with it.

I think it will take some practice to find my own way of combining all of the elements to create layouts that I’m comfortable with.  I’d like it to feel like I haven’t just thrown things together.  It seems like it should tell a story in two quick pages!

What I really love is that Stampin’ Up!’s Project Life line of products is still the same great quality and the same coordination between products that we’ve all grown to expect from Stampin’ Up!  You can use anything from your stash and the colors will match.

I’ve used the Let’s Get Away Card Set and Accessory Pack to create this 6 x 8″ two page layout.  Here, I’ve used a journaling card, a clip, a sticker, a clear overlay with a border and some stamping with my white StazOn ink pad.

I love that I can stamp on my pictures and on the cards and papers that are included in these little kits.  I also love that they coordinate with all my inks and the rest of my stash.

I’ve mostly been using the cards on my regular scrapbook layouts and on cards, but I’ve been puttering with making a layout here and there as these were created to be used.  I think it would be easy to get hooked!

This weekend I’d like to try creating some layouts using my own paper stash to add to the cards.  And maybe a bit more stamping!
Here are the supplies I used to create these quick pages!  All products are available online at mystampingstore.com!
