Everyone is crafting for Valentine’s Day! It seems that we move from one holiday to another in the stamping and crafting world. Holidays and events give us a purpose…or at least a very good excuse…to craft. I’m not sure I need an excuse anymore. Crafting has become such an outlet and such a source of relaxation for me that it’s like an escape from that list of things to do. Which is really a list of things I never get to! I’m too busy crafting!
How pretty are the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper (#129309)? Imagine all of the things we can make we these beautiful romantic papers! The two patterned papers that you see are the front and back of the same paper. I created a border from Primrose Petal using the Scallop Trim Border Punch (#119882), added a strip of each side of the DSP paper. I covered the seam between the two papers with Pool Party Ribbon from the Sycamore Street set in the soon-to-be-released Sale-a-bration flyer!
The sentiment is from the Seasonal Sayings (#128009) from the Spring Mini catalog and it is stamped in Real Red ink. I also used a piece of Real Red card stock and created my embossed hearts from the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit (#125596). This is an amazing little tool. It cuts the hearts out and embosses at the same time! It actually gives you 5 different size and different embossed hearts all at once! I also used the Hearts a Flutter (#130159) to cut a small heart from the DSP.
It’s a quick and simple card layered on a Pool Party card base (5-1/2 x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4.) layered with a Very Vanilla card stock mat (4 x 5-1/4″).
I love creating cards and scrapbook pages! I hope that I’m inspiring you to do create some too!
