I recently received a personalized stamp set from Altenew. They sent their customers a stamp set as a gift to celebrate their 4th Anniversary.
I couldn’t resist playing with it and using it for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge!
I love that they made a stamp just for me with my name on it!!! I feel special! (That is all it takes!)
In the picture above, I played around with an emboss resist technique using clear embossing powder and a light wash of some of my favorite Altenew ink colors. I will mount that on a card tomorrow.
For the card that I’m sharing today, I attempted a no line marker technique. I’m embracing the imperfections on this one! I keep practicing this technique and one of these days, I will master it.
Today is not quite that day!
I got a little heavy handed with the Altenew Ink Spray. (In all honesty, I was trying to get the card finished and my daughter called. I spritzed while trying to balance the phone on one shoulder. When will I learn to use speaker phone?)
I love these ink sprays. They shimmer. You can never have enough shimmer and sparkle.
The strip of paper is from My Favorite Things. I love their 6 x 6″ paper collections. They are fabulous.
I used my Altenew Alcohol Artist Markers which I noticed they are selling in sets of 4 now. I love these alcohol markers. I love that they come in coordinating sets and I don’t have to think about what colors to use. The yellows and greens are my absolute favorites.
The sentiment is from Altenew’s Dream Big stamp set which has a layered butterfly and coordinating die. I can’t wait to sit down and have time to play with that. It’s so pretty. It’s a tiny set that is really inexpensive but so versatile. Another reason to love Altenew!!
The spray that I used is the Antique Silver. Had I sprayed it from a higher distance, I would have gotten smaller droplets.
Here is the sketch that I started with:
Super cute sketch for a nice clean and simple card.
We would love to have you stop by the Paper Craft Crew and play along with the sketch.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting!
