Quick and Easy Fall Card With Sunny Studio Stamps and Patterned Paper

By | 11/09/2020

Many of the stamp sets that you can purchase today are outline stamps and they require that you love to watercolor or use alcohol markers or colored pencils.  We all tend to have a favorite medium of choice for these images.

Sometimes, I just want to stamp the image and get my project done.  I have a few go to stamp sets just for this reason!

I have two Sunny Studio stamp sets for fall that I’ve had for years and I used them all the time: Beautiful Autumn and Autumn Splendor.

I have a card to share that uses a classic card sketch and I’ve chosen one of the Sunny Studio stamp sets.classic card sketch for a quick fall card with sunny studio stamps

These are actually layered stamps.  The paper is from Photoplay and it is their Gnome for the Holidays: Thanksgiving.  This was a 6 x 6″ pad and I’ve used almost the entire package of 24 sheets. I love this paper!!

This plaid went perfectly with my Catherine Pooler inks: Mandarin Spice, Icing on the Cake, Eucalyptus, Sauna, Sand Castle and Over Coffee.

The card sketch is from this week’s Atlantic Heart’s Sketch Challenge.

This is one of those classic card sketches that is timeless.  I added it to my digital card sketch file so that on days that I need inspiration, I can look there and browse through the sketches I’ve saved.

You can see that I followed the sketch pretty closely this time!classic sketch for quick fall card using sunny studio stamps

This is a fun little stamp set to play with and I tend to use it all year long.  Leaves are around almost all year and I pull it out for a lot of projects.
