I was delighted that I was able to get the last of the Close To My Heart Gnomes scrapbooking workshop. I really enjoyed scrapping with the fall, winter, and spring sets. I was able to create a fun layout with the paper by combining it with the Happiest Day stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and a few old Stampin’ Up! things from my stash.
Today we have a new challenge from the Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge. This is the challenge where YOU need to be in one of the photos on the layout.
This month is all about rainbows!
I used a colorful background using mostly the warmer colors of a rainbow and a touch of blue.
I used two papers from the Summer Gnomes set along with some sentiment stickers and one of the title stickers. I embellished with some rainbows, dragonflies, and sparkle stamping from the Happiest Day stamp set. The sentiment stamped in the circle on the upper right is also from that stamp set.
The wood piece and the yellow enamel dots are old Stampin’ Up! goodies from long ago. The stars are some random stash items that I wanted to use up.
All in all, I had a very relaxing afternoon scrapbooking today. This is a happy memory of my first visit to my daughter’s first house. I had a delightful and relaxing visit with my daughter and her fiancé. It was so fun to see how they decorated their new home and what improvements they were making to the house to make it their own. I have to say, the house was just adorable.
