Love the idea,  but wonder do I need to seal or set the color with heat before using on a card?

      Hi Susie!
I don’t usually set the color on a card. I always do on other surfaces, like tile or fabric.

have you tried double stamping with black ink after you colored your image?

I have. I like that too. You can really use any color that you want to double stamp.

    Hello Kim,

thank you for showing this. I wonder if have to use a fixatif spray to avoid the pastel spreading over the paper. I often work with the normal pastels and oil pastels. Is this box of you different?

i just bought the VersMark today and I am anxious to try it tomorrow.

Your catalog is awsome, but I live in France so I have to surch here for the articles.

I often use the spray with the pastels on projects I want to last or that will be handled a lot. I don’t often use it on cards, but I don’t think it would hurt it! Thank you for watching!

Oh my gosh, I love it.  I also have the stampin up pastel chalks and have had them since about 1999. I am going to make something right now. The juices are flowing. Thanks Kim, your work and instructions are perfect.

I’ve been hesitant to use chalk because I didn’t quite know how to apply it and use it effectively.  Thanks!

    Hi Kim,

You mentioned above that Stampin’ Up is no longer selling the chalk pastels. Why would they make this horrible decision? I love mine and will be very disappointed when they wear out, which won’t be too far in the future.  My cousin has purchased other brands and none so far has lived up to the quality of the Stampin’ Up brand, Absolutely none of them are as good….

Stampin’ Up! usually discontinues things that aren’t selling. I agree with you…they really had the best quality chalks out there. Perhaps we’ll see them again in the future. Right now, the trend seems to be the alcohol markers and Stampin’ Up! has come out with the Blendabilities. They are fabulous, versatile and fun to use to color images and to create shading on your project.
