The June card kit for Simon Says Stamps was pretty terrific! It came with a giant stamp set, a stencil, card stock, envelopes, inspiration, 6 x 8″ patterned paper, Tim Holtz Ideaology clippings stickers and Typography Findings, and Gina K. Glitz Glitter Gel.
You bet I played with the glitter gel and stencil. Let me tell you…it is so sparkly!
I didn’t wait for it to dry before snapping the pictures. If it looks different dry, I will add more pictures in the morning.
I probably should have tried this on a flat sheet of paper. You can see that there are coverage issues where the stencil and past went over the black cardstock strip. All in all, I like how this medium behaved. I can’t wait to see if it is flexible when it dries. If yes…I will use this in my scrapbooks!
I added some Heart Beat red ink to add the color to this clear gel. It’s very glittery and really sparkles!
The patterned paper is from MFT Stamps and the sentiment is from Altenew’s Delicate Bouquet stamp set.
The Simon Says Stamp are my favorite card kits. They always have great stamp sets and papers, then you get either a die or stencil or second stamp set, along with some product of some kind. I LOVE these kits. They are a great value for my crafty dollar.
The layout was inspired by this week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge:
