Stampin’ Up! has a stamp set in the Distinktive Style that I couldn’t wait to share. It is called Big Little Thanks.
It has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension when you stamp it, creating photo-realistic images. It is a beautiful style of stamp that requires no special skill to create an amazing card!
I used all 4 of the beautiful critters in the set to create a set of thank you cards for after Christmas.
How fabulous are these critters? I stamped the Panda in Memento Black ink. The rest are all stamped in Gray Granite ink.
I added a mat in Secret Sea that I made 1/8″ larger that each stamped panel.
I also used the Lasting Linen background stamp in Basic Beige ink on Basic Beige card stock for a subtle contrasting background. These panels are cut to 4-1/8 5-3/8″.
All of this is on a white card base cut at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″, that is scored and folded at 4-1/4″.
I stamped the sentiments in Secret Sea from the Delicate Framing stamp set. I thought the size and style of the sentiment was a perfect complement to the focal image.
I added two beige matte embellishments to the right of the focal image for an added touch.
Very simple and elegant.
