Single Layer Clean And Simple Card: Adding Color With Nuvo Paste and Drops

By | 06/14/2021

Today I am creating a very clean and simple (CAS) card for the Make The Cards Challenge for this week.  This is a theme challenge this week and we are creating encouragement cards.

Clean And Simple Cards With Color from Nuvo pastes and drops

I used some new goodies I just ordered from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  They have such cute things and they were have a couple of giveaways so I placed a small order.  They always package their products so beautifully and they always tuck in some little embellishments and a rabbit clip.  I love when companies do that!

I kept this very simple.  I stamped the 1 Line Flower stamp and the sentiment (there are 4 sentiments to choose from in this set) in my Maker Forte Color Hive ink.

I couldn’t fit the entire butterfly stencil on the card, so I masked it off and added my Nuvo Glacier Paste in Sea Sprite to the stencil.  I also added 3 drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops in English Mustard to the center of the flower and several Morning Meadow clear drops to the open space in the card.

It’s hard for me to leave a card this plain!  I love clean and simple cards, but I find them a challenge to make.  It’s hard to leave all that space empty!

Awesome job on your CAS creation! I too struggle with white space at times!
