Sneak Peek for September Online Exclusive Lovely Florals Scrapbook Workshop Kit

By | 08/18/2025

There are soooo many great new products being released by Stampin’ Up! in September!

First…the new Fall and Holiday Mini Catalog will be released with all kinds of fall and holiday goodies packed inside!  My wish list is long!

Second…there are some fantastic new products being released as Online Exclusives that are also being released on September 5!

Today I want to share the first double page scrapbook layout that I made with the new Lovely Florals Scrapbook Workshop Kit.

If you are a scrapbooker, there are two holiday scrapbook workshop kits being released with the Mini Catalog.  There are also two scrapbook workshop kits being released with the Online Exclusives.  One is a Halloween Kit and the other is the Lovely Floral Kit that I’m sharing a peek of today.

All 4 have optional coordinating stamp sets that you can purchase.  Three of them have coordinating suites of products as well.

The suites for the Online Exclusive Scrapbook Workshop Kits were released in July.  Check out the Charming Florals Suite for the Lovely Florals Kit and the Spook Sweet Suite to coordinate with the Sweet Halloween Scrapbook Workshop Kit.  You can get more papers and a coordinating stamp and die, embellishments, ribbon with those already released suites.

Check out my layouts with the Lovely Florals Kit:

I created the Title piece using Timid Tiger card stock and the Lovely Florals stamp set.  The die is from the Fright Night Dies that were released in July.  You can also see the Paper Clip ephemera piece that I made from the Just a Note die set.

I’m adding this to the Lasting Memories Stash Buster Week 3 Challenge.  The challenge this week is to use sequins, beads, or brads.   I have left over sequins from February, and I really want to use them up.  This challenge encouraged me to use them! I just scattered them around my layout and hopefully it helps pull your eye down the page.

The layout for this was inspired by one of the layouts in the instruction sheet in the kit.  I changed it up to make it my own and suit my needs.  I have the sweetest picture of my daughter with her daughter when they stopped on a long trip to have lunch with my mom, sister, and brother-in-law.  I’m not including the pictures in this blog post or social media because they don’t all want their pictures splattered across the internet.  I respect that!

I loved the torn paper detail on this layout.  That is the detail I borrowed from the kit instructions.  I loved it!!

My second layout continues with a base using the same papers and that torn paper detail.

I used the base of the torn paper details with the layered patterns from my first layout but created the rest of the layout with a sketch challenge from Sketch-N-Scrap for August.

For my layout, I added some journaling boxes and florals from the Lovely Florals kit.  The title and subtitle came from the die and sticker sheets in the kit. I have several photos of my granddaughter with me and my husband and her father that I am including on this layout.

I added more of those sequins to this layout as well to finish off the page.

I loved the sketch for the inclusion of 3 photos, a good spot for journaling, and the location of the title and subtitle.  It also allowed me to use the base of papers with that torn paper detail that I like so much.

Thank you for stopping by!  Happy creating!

Your layouts are just lovely, however, please note that our sketches are for personal use only and not for use when selling kits to make a profit. We understand that accidents happen but we appreciate you honoring our copyright and our rules moving forward. Thanks for understanding and abiding by our rules for future projects.

I do apologize for that. I misinterpreted the wording of your guidelines. I assumed personal use meant that I could create a layout for your challenge and post it on my blog and social media sites as long as I linked back to your site and gave credit for the sketch, which I did do. I did not see anything that said I couldn’t post links to the products that I was using in your guidelines. I edited the post and removed the link to the shop for the products from my post so it should no longer be violating your policy.

Thank you Kim for joining us this week at the Lasting Memories Scrap your stash. Thu use of sequins certainly highlights bits on you page. D.T Maureen

Love the floral paper you used for both layouts, and the tearing detail adds a nice touch of texture. Glad you got to use up a bunch of sequins for the Lasting Memories Challenge; we love to help bash your stash!
