Stampin’ Up! Quick Card: Betsy’ Blossoms and Petite Pairs

By | 06/25/2013

I participated in a color challenge today that I truly found challenging!  The challenge was to use only Slate Gray and Crushed Curry in your card.  You are also allowed Whisper White or Very Vanilla.  This combination made my eyes water at first!  Then I started shuffling through my Designer Series Paper drawer wishing that I had the Eastern Elegance DSP!  The Eastern Elegance paper actually coordinates wonderfully with the Beautiful Baroque stamp and the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder.  The embossing folder and stamp can be purchased as a bundle, saving you %15 if you order them with the bundle number.(#132732).

Needless to say, I haven’t purchased that bundle yet either!  So many things on my wish list!!!

This card was not making itself.  As it turns out, I do have the Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper and one of the colors in that set happens to be Crushed Curry!  I started with a 2 x 4″ piece of that and the card grew from there!

I think those colors go very well together and that is a cute card.

Thank you! I have to agree with you about the colors! I really had my doubts when I was putting it together, but I would use this combination again!
