SUO Blog Hop:  Best Year Ever!

I was invited to participate in an SUO Blog Hop by Naomi Witzke whose blog is called One Happy Stamper!  Thank you so much, Nancy!!!  Make sure you stop by Nancy’s blog.  She has the MOST GORGEOUS card using the Perfect Peacock stamp that uses some absolutely stunning techniques!  WOW!  That card shows master card making at its finest!

For my blog hop share, I decided to keep playing with new things!  I just can’t believe how great the Occasions catalog is and how much I love the free products that I’ve gotten so far from the Sale-A-Bration catalog!

I have a treat bag made from the new Mini Treat Bag Thinlets and the Best Year Ever Designer Paper.

As it turns out, the thinlets are very easy to use to create the treat bags.  The set also comes with several other coordinating thinlets.  Here, you can see the heart border thinlet.

How cute is the Calypso Coral Pom Pom Trim?  It’s just a fun touch!

I really love this sentiment!

I also created a coordinating card using the Too Kind stamp set from the annual catalog.  I LOVE two step stamping!  The sentiment came from yet another SAB item that you can get for free called A Happy Thing.

Here, you can see the complete card.  The ribbon is…you guessed it…another SAB free item!

Isn’t this paper pretty?!

I love both of these projects.  I highly recommend the treat bag thinlets.  They would be fantastic to hold a note card, a gift card, photos or even a treat!

One of the conditions of the blog hop is that I answer 4 questions:

1.  What are you working on?

I’m working on some videos for my Stamper’s Lounge membership site.  I’m creating a Birthday Card and Perpetual Calendar Boot Camp video series for my Stamper’s Lounge Members.

2. How does your work differ from others in your genre?

I think that I like to focus on quick and easy cards and projects.  I try to create cards from many different styles that everyone can create with the supplies that they have on hand.  I also try to create a variety of projects in addition to cards, like scrapbook layouts and gift projects.

3.  Why do you create what you do?

Creating is my therapy!  It’s relaxing to create things.  I tend to sit down and create several projects at one time.

4. How does your creativity process work?

I ususally start with a designer paper or a stamp set that I want to create with.  I like to create 4 or 5 cards with the same paper, ribbon and stamp set to get a variety of projects from one set of materials.  Once I have supplies out, it’s just as easy to create several projects as opposed to just one!
