Using Digital Stamps With Traditional Elements

By | 11/03/2021

If you’ve been visiting my blog for the past couple of years, you know that I’ve fallen in love with digital stamps.

I love that I can change the size of them and I really love that they take no physical space to store.  I’ve got a craft room jammed full of stuff that I’ve organized and that I use all the time…I really don’t need more!  I’m not sure where I would put it!

I created a card today that is a mix of digital stamps and traditional card making goodies like dies and patterned papers.

This sweet bunny digi is the November Challenge digi from Kinda Cute by Patricia. A new challenge started on November 1.  If you participate in this month’s challenge by creating a card with one of Patricia’s digital images, you will get the December image for free and you could be selected to win some free digis as well!!

I used my new Boxed Sentiments dies from Kat Scrappiness to die cut out my digital sentiment that I printed on my printer.  I love how perfect it came out!!

I also used the new 5 x 7″ rectangle stack of dies from Kat Scrappiness with the stitched detail to cut out my panel for my bunny.

The stencil is from STAMPlorations and the pearls are from Kat Scrapiness.  That pretty patterned paper is from a craft kit from Simon Says Stamp that has been in my stash for a few months.

You can see all the fabulous details on the card, but that bunny and the sentiment are the star of the show!  How sweet is this image?  I also love the sentiment which is from the Kinda Cute by Patricia Encouragement Sentiments digital set.  I was able to resize it to work on my card!
