A Clean and Simple Single Layer Card For Fall

By | 09/17/2019

I was in the mood for a clean and simple single layer card for today, so I took some liberties with the card sketches for my design teams.

I’ve used Catherine Pooler’s Fluttering Friends stamp set and her mandarin spice, tiara, eucalyptus and icing on the cake inks.  I added some detailed coloring with my Altenew Artist markers and some black splatters and a few fall colored sequins and called it a day.

These are my favorite Catherine Pooler ink colors along with a couple of blues, a purple and a red.  This combination makes me so happy!

The fluttering friends stamp and die set has a delightful pair of bird images as well as some wonderful sentiments like the one you see here on the card.

Here is the sketch I used for my layout inspiration from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge:

You can see that I kept the basic layout, but eliminated all of the layers.

This week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge is a Fall Challenge, so this stamp set was a perfect selection.

There truly is nothing like Autumn Days!
