10 Days of Thanksgiving Projects: Create A Hand Stamped Candle

By | 10/17/2014

10 Days of Thanksgiving Projects:  Create A Hand Stamped Candle!  My sister got me started rubber stamping over 20 years ago.  It was a lot of fun to take classes and meet other people as interested in playing with papers and inks as we were.  I was already a serious scrapbooker by the time she got me hooked on stamps.  Every time I took a class and learned a new technique it was a WOW! moment for me.

Do you remember the first time that you heat embossed something?  Tell me that’s not a WOW! moment.

Today’s project is another one of those kinds of projects.  Someone sent me a hand stamped candle for Christmas and I was hooked on this little beauty of a project.  It’s perfect for any occasion and it’s an inexpensive project to make.  It makes a great gift and it makes a great addition to your home decor or holiday decorating!

Oh yes!  I will be making this same candle in Christmas colors!  This Wondrous Wreath stamp set is a perfect stamp for this project.

This is so simple to do.  You stamp your image on a piece of tissue paper and then use your heat tool to melt the candle around the edges of the paper.  So simple!

Let me show you how to make this hand stamped candle in the video below!
