I have a quick share today!  I have two cards that I created and 4 quick ways to add snowfall effects to your cards.

Adding Snowfall Effects To Winter Cards

I inked up the edges of my card fronts with some distress oxides.  You know I’ve been obsessed with adding this detail to my cards lately!  I’m just loving it!

I heat embossed the vertical sentiments from the November Hedgehog Hollow kits along with randomly stamped snowflakes.  These were heat embossed in white.  This is one of the easiest ways to add a falling snow effect.  I love when stamp sets include this little stamps.  They add such great details to cards.

Next, I spritzed the inked areas of the card with water from my mister bottle and blotted it up with a paper towel, lifting the dye based inks where the water hit.  That is technique 2 for adding snowfall effects.

I also added some white gel pen dots for technique 3 for adding snowfall effects.

As a bonus idea…you can also add silver or white sequins as well for another snowfall effect.

All of these are the quickest and easiest ways to add snowfall effects to your cards!!
