I have 3 cards to share today. 2 of the cards will be featured in today’s video and the third will be featured in a longer, more detailed video in a couple of days. I am sharing 2 quick and easy clean and simple cards today!
This is the card that I will share in a couple of days:
This card took quite a bit of time to create so I will share the video in a couple of days. I want to share how to create that background with the distress oxides and Copic snowbanks, along with the coloring of the Santa. I’ve had quite a few requests to share videos on how to color with alcohol markers.
My second card is a slimline:
I kept the cards that I wanted to share today pretty clean and simple. I think that when you purchase outline stamps that require coloring, it’s nice to get ideas of how to create an easy card with them. This one couldn’t be easier.
This is a slimline die from Pink Fresh Studios. It is supposed to have a stitched detail around the scallops and dots. I got this free (now I know why!) for placing an order with Pink Fresh. Kelly has these in the 7 Kids Store and they do have the stitching on them.
The stamp set that I featured on my part of the YouTube Hop is called Santa’s Helper. It had the tree, the star Santa is holding and Santa, along with a number of small filler stamps that could be used for a background or as tree decorations. It also has two fantastic sentiments which you can see on my cards for today.
My 3rd card is another clean and simple card:
I love this tree image! Can you tell? I used gel pen to create the snow detail and you can see how I did that in the video below!
