I have a quick and easy Christmas gift idea that you can make in an afternoon from items mostly from your stash!

I created 2 of these recipe albums from those dollar store 4 x 6″ photo albums, patterned papers from my craft stash, and some stickers and ephemera from Simple Stories Apron Strings collection. I also added some nice recipe cards that I got off Amazon.
I had a blast making these! I cut all the papers to 4 x 6″ pieces and added them to the album. I added a recipe card to every other pocket and then used the stickers and ephemera to decorate the cover and the insides.
I left one side of each pair of pockets open so pictures of the food or events related to the food in the recipe could be scrapped on the page. Nowadays, everyone seems to take pictures of their food and this seems like the perfect album for those pictures!
I love this idea! A little Ivy Canon Printer would be a perfect coordinating gift because that is a great size photo to print for this album.
I just added a few decorations to each page, keeping them to the left or the right or to one corner so that they would not block photos that are added.
I added some eyelets with my Crop-a-Dile and used elastic cord to hold the album closed. That way, when they print recipes and stuff them in, they will be held in place!
