Today’s image is called Elegant Bride! I had a lot of fun coloring this. I found it a challenge to add enough color to give the dress dimension, but not so much color that it no longer looks white.

I tried to keep it clean and simple. I used the fabulous Circles All Over Cover Die from STAMPlorations. I think this cover die is just perfect for a formal card like a wedding card. 
The digital images for this month have included a wide variety of critters, people, and themes. I’ve already seen a few of the February ones and I can’t wait to color them!
I have discovered that it easier to color an image someone sends you than it is to try to select just one image out of an online shop when there are so many great images to choose from!
For the bride’s dress, I used a live blue-violet to create my pleats, the shadows along the edges, and the veil.
