It’s time for an Anything Goes Scrapbook Challenge!

Challenge YOUrself Scrapbook Challenge

I decided that I wanted to scrap some photos from 2016 from a trip my family took to Westhampton, NY to the beach the day after Tropical Storm Hermine ravaged Long Island.

We decided to see what the ocean was like the day after the storm.  It was very windy and the ocean waves were huge and the surf was very rough.  Our kids were home visiting for Labor Day weekend, and it is a tradition for my husband to get a photo of the two kids on the beach at the end of summer.  He wanted to get that photo!

I discovered that I didn’t have any paper that felt like water or sand.  I also didn’t have any outdoorsy paper.

Until yesterday!  My pre-order from the January-April 2026 Occassions Mini Catalog arrived and there is a suite of products with a coordinating scrapbook workshop kit that I ordered and it arrived yesterday!

I’m so happy!  The paper is beautiful and the scrapbook kit did not disappoint.

This is the Beach Time Scrapbook Workshop Kit and the Beach Time stamp set.  This will be available for purchase starting on January 6, 2026.  It’s a good one!

I actually used parts of the suggested layouts in the kit for this layout.  I loved the paper combination for the base of my layout.  I knew I was using this paper as soon as I pulled it out of the package.  But when I saw the photo of the strip of rainbow stripes down the side, I knew that I wanted to include that detail as well.

I pulled some coral alphabet stickers out of my stash to add some words to my title.  I also used a piece of Glacier 12 x 12″ two tone card stock that I had on my shelf from Close to my Heart.  I have lots of that to use up before I can justify purchasing new 12 x 12″ colors of card stock from Stampin’ Up!  The Glacier is equivalent to Pool Party so it worked for me.

I also did a little stamping using one of the little filler stamps from the stamp set.  I add some Pool Party stamped details around the page.

I really enjoyed playing with this kit.  I can’t wait to pull it out again to create more beach pages.  It will also work for the photos I have from our trips to the Brooklyn Aquarium and Coney Island amusement park.

You can find all of your Stampin’ Up! supplies online at ShopWithKim.net!
