Advanced Die Cutting: Using Transparency Sheets With Dies

By | 01/26/2018

I have a quick share today.  This card is TOTALLY CASEd from my class.  They encourage us to make the card like they do.

I did not have time to play with this technique and create a card of my own design yet, but I will.

This is much simpler to do than it looks!

How delicate and pretty does this look?

Check it out standing up:

I used Stampin’ Up!’s window sheets because they are thick and sturdy.  The die is from Altenew and it has several rose dies of various sizes.  It cuts beautifully.

I’ve added more of the gold glitter washi tape from Altenew.  I really like that product.  I love sparkle on my card and getting it with a simple piece of washi tape is a nice easy way to do that.

I can already picture doing this as a gift box top or a bag cutout or tag topper.  Paired with velum this would be very pretty as well.

Another technique to add to my card making arsenal.  Another technique to play with and to experiment with to make it my own.  So much to look forward to!

Thank you for stopping by!  Happy crafting and remember to embrace the imperfections!
