Hello friend! I’m so delighted that you stopped by to visit today!
I am sharing my card for this week’s Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I absolutely loved the sketch and couldn’t wait to play along with the challenge this week.
I don’t have any scraps of patterned paper so I elected to create watercolored stripes for my card today. I think this would have been a perfect place to use those leftover branding strips if I had any left in my stash!
I used the new Spring Has Sprung and the Honey Bunny Scrapbooking stamp sets from Close to my Heart. I so loved the new March and April catalog that was recently released and I just couldn’t wait to add this sweet bunny stamp set to my stash.
I used my Copic markers to color the bunnies in. E30, E31, E34, and RV10
The watercolor stripes were made with the CTMH Flamingo, Glacier, and Honey Butter ink pads. I did pull out the Lagoon ink pad to create my faux ribbons and to stamp the sentiment.
I love all the little filler stamps that came in the Honey Bunny scrapbooking stamp set. You can see that I used 3 of them to create a little floral background behind my bunnies. I used my trusty 2″ and 2-1/2″ circle punches from Stampin’ Up! to create my circles. I still find my punches so much easier to pull out and use versus my die cutting machine.
A few enamel dots and white gel pen details finished off my card and I think it is just so sweet!
You can find the inks and stamps in my online shop: SHOP HERE
Supplies are only available while supplies last or until the end of April 2024. You may have heard that Close to my Heart is closing it’s doors after 40 years of business. I’m heartbroken about this since I have come to really enjoy the scrapbooking kits. I have been purchasing and using one kit a month along with the coordinating stamp set for the last couple of years and I have loved every project that I created with these fabulous products.
Thank you for stopping by friends. My blog and YouTube will continue even though CTMH has closed. I’m thinking of rejoining Stampin’ Up! and seeing if I can do some scrapbooking with their cardmaking products. I will make a few cards a month, but my days of making cards on a daily basis are over! I have enough cards and now I only make what I need to send to family and friends. I am really a memory keeper at heart and that is where my heart is!
Have a fantastic day. I hope you find some time to be creative today!
