This month’s Challenge YOUrself scrapbook challenge is a sketch challenge…and as always, YOU need to be in the photo on your layout!

I had fun with this layout!  I pulled out some of my Vicki Boutin papers that I’ve had in my stash.  (Now that I know Close to my Heart is closing, it seemed okay to play with other goodies!)

I used the lagoon color to create a dark and moody base.  Then I layered papers from the collection and pulled out ephemera from my stash to add to my layout.

My layout is documenting my crochet journey! I started crocheting with a Woobles kit in October and now I can’t stop.  I am pictured with my second ever granny square and two of my new favorite pattern…ditty bags!

I’m currently working on 3 afghans and a shawl.  I have yarn for my next 3 planned projects and some more ditty bags and baskets.

I added some splatter to my background, along with a journaling pen border.  There are also a few gold glitter gems to add some sparkle.  My title is a mix of two alphabet puffy sticker sets that came in a kit with the tags and dies I used for my layout.

My goal is to use as much of my stash as possible before adding too much new stuff.  I won’t be placing any more orders with CTMH so I’m hoping to use my stash for a couple of months before deciding what I want to do next.

I worked with Stampin’ Up! for 5 years and then moved on to working with 15 or so different companies on design teams and as an affiliate before joining CTMH a couple of years ago.  So I’ve got some decisions to make.  It may be fun just to do some challenge design teams and use up my stash for a while.  You can see that I’m now spending a lot of creative energy on my crochet projects!  It’s a very relaxing hobby!

Thanks for stopping by friend!  Have a great day~!
