The new Scrapping4Fun Challenge is up and it’s all about Autumn! It is an anything goes project with an Autumn theme.
I decided to make a journal cover using the sweet My New Shoes digital image from Ike’s Art. It is just so sweet!!
I used a brown paper bag to create a cover for a dollar store notebook. Just like I used to do in elementary school!
I added some fall colors with my Color Hive inks in English Mustard, Grand Canyon, Leicester Red from Maker Forte. Then I pulled out my stash of mixed media stamps and just stamped with the same colors. I also added some black and brown splatter.

I had some die cut leaves sitting on my desk so I added those. The sentiment is from a recent Simon Says Stamp kit and the sequins are from Catherine Pooler. All of these things were just sitting on my desk.
I added some twine and a gold clip to finish it off.
The image is colored in Copics. I actually colored that in August and finally got to put my project together today.
I love how this turned out and it is going to be a nice seasonal festive touch sitting on my desk.
